About Dr Sinha
A Consultant Dermatologist specialising in skin cancer, with expertise spanning prevention, diagnosis, treatment and lifelong surveillance.
Her practice is founded on a commitment to delivering complete skin cancer care — supporting patients through every stage of their journey with a thoughtful, personalised approach guided by skin preservation, sun protection and long-term skin health.
As Clinical Lead for the South East London Tertiary Melanoma Service at St John's Institute of Dermatology, Dr Sinha cares for patients across the full spectrum of the skin cancer journey, from prevention and early diagnosis to treatment and long-term follow-up.
A career dedicated to cancer care
Long before specialising in dermatology, Dr Sinha worked in haemato-oncology and melanoma at both The Royal Marsden and The Christie, two of the UK's leading cancer centres. These experiences shaped her understanding that excellent outcomes are achieved not only through treatment, but through continuity, communication and long-term support.
Following specialist dermatology training, she undertook an advanced post-CCT Skin Cancer Fellowship at the internationally renowned St John's Institute of Dermatology — intensive subspecialty training across melanoma, non-melanoma skin cancer, skin cancer surgery, high-risk surveillance and the multidisciplinary management of complex cases.
"World-class cancer care is not defined by a single procedure. It is built on expertise, thoughtful decision-making and continuity of care."
"The best skin cancer outcomes begin long before treatment and continue long after it."
Diagnosis and management across all stages.
The most common form of skin cancer.
Including high-risk and recurrent disease.
Identifying and treating early changes.
Specialist care for high-risk patients — including those with previous skin cancers, significant sun damage, genetic predisposition, immunosuppression, and transplant recipients.
Her approach extends beyond diagnosis alone and focuses on supporting patients through every stage of their journey — from prevention and risk reduction through treatment and lifelong surveillance.
Research, education & leadership
Alongside her clinical work, Dr Sinha is actively involved in skin cancer research, clinical trials and postgraduate medical education — contributing to research on melanoma, prevention and the management of skin cancer in immunocompromised patients, and committed to training the next generation of dermatologists and advancing standards of care.

A philosophy of skin preservation
"Sometimes the most important skin is the skin we choose not to remove."
A defining principle of Dr Sinha's practice is skin preservation. Whether treating skin cancer, assessing a suspicious lesion or removing a benign growth, every decision is guided by a careful balance between achieving the best clinical outcome and preserving healthy skin, function and appearance wherever possible.
Every treatment decision should answer two questions:
Through prevention, education and sun protection.
Through accurate diagnosis and thoughtful treatment.
Through lifelong surveillance and proactive skin health management.
This approach allows patients to access complete skin cancer care through a single specialist practice, with continuity, expertise and support at every stage of their journey.
"My aim is simple: to help patients protect their skin, preserve their health and move forward with confidence."
